How to order and request a quotation

Find a material or product, tell us what you need, and receive a written scope before committing to supply. Our current catalogue is led by enquiries.

1. Choose the right route

Sourcing enquiry — availability unconfirmed means the listing starts a sourcing conversation. Confirmed supply — request quotation means supply has been checked but your quantity, specification and delivery still require a quotation. Only an item explicitly enabled for online purchase can be checked out. An illustration or indicative price does not establish stock.

2. Send a useful brief

  • Product name and intended use.
  • Quantity and selling unit: kilograms, litres, linear metres, packs or a complete system.
  • Required grade, composition, dimensions and acceptable alternatives.
  • Delivery town, province and postcode; for cross-border enquiries, include the destination country.
  • Preferred timing and whether you first need a sample.

For fabric, specify width, composition, weight, colour and finishing requirements. For hurd, give particle grade and application. For equipment, give input material, required output, utilities and installation location. For planting material, start with identity and documentation through our genetics discussion route.

3. Review the quotation

Check the exact product or model, quantity, unit price, minimum order, delivery charges, lead time, quotation validity and exclusions. Confirm whether samples, installation, commissioning, training or packaging are included. Ask questions before accepting substitutions. Delivery timing and costs must be agreed for the actual destination; no universal courier rate is promised by this catalogue.

4. Agree payment and fulfilment

An enquiry is not an order or a request to pay. Use the payment instructions on an accepted, current quotation or a purchase-enabled checkout. Confirm account details directly if instructions change. Dispatch or collection arrangements, payment milestones and any inspection requirements belong in the agreed order.

5. Check what arrives

Compare labels, quantities and supplied documentation with the order. Keep packaging and record any visible damage or mismatch with photographs and the order reference. Contact us with the issue so the applicable order terms and next steps can be established.

Current fulfilment arrangements

The store is currently configured for South African customers, with collection by arrangement as its only enabled fulfilment method. Collection and returns address: 2140 Voltaire Drive, Dainfern Valley, South Africa. Collection is by prior arrangement. Contact us before sending a return so that we can coordinate receipt and the appropriate next steps; this does not limit any applicable statutory rights. No courier service or nationwide delivery rate is currently configured at checkout. If you require delivery, include your destination in the enquiry and request a written freight quotation before committing.

Common questions

Can I buy every catalogue item immediately?

No. The status and action on each listing determine the next step. Current enquiry listings require written confirmation before payment.

Are the product images exact photographs?

Images labelled “Illustrative image” explain the product category. Request current photographs, samples and specifications for the item being quoted.

Is delivery included?

Only when the written quotation explicitly includes it. Send your destination and quantity so freight and handling can be assessed.

Can I request a sample or a bulk price?

Yes. Ask for the sample format, cost, lead time and bulk quantity in your enquiry. Availability and terms are confirmed individually.
